Static electricity is a common problem in the operation of digital textile printing machine. In dry winter weather, there are more electric ions in the air, which may lead to static electricity in digital textile printing machine, and the friction of the car in the process of high-speed movement will also produce static electricity. Static electricity may lead to print-heads blockage, precision reduction, serious or even direct damage to the precision print-heads, affecting the printing quality and equipment life. At the beginning of the internal design of the Boyin digital textile printing machine, this factor was considered, and the circuit connection of the Boyin digital printing machine and the interior of the car were extra protected, and the insulation shielding device was used to avoid the static electricity generated by the printing platform and the head. So in addition to these necessary hardware conditions, how to avoid static electricity in daily operation?
- 1.Maintain proper humidity
Static electricity is more likely to accumulate in a dry environment. By using a humidifier to maintain the relative humidity of the working environment between 40%-60%, you can effectively reduce the generation of static electricity. Ensure air circulation to avoid excessive dryness, especially in winter or air-conditioned rooms.
Ensure that all equipment, including digital printing machines, worktables and rollers, are properly grounded. A good grounding system can deflect static electricity in time to prevent it from building up to dangerous levels. Periodically check the connection of the ground cable to ensure that it is always in good condition.
3.Use antistatic materials
Wear an anti-static wristband when touching the print-heads or handling the printing media, and cover the unused print-heads or material with an anti-static cloth. Choose anti-static printing media and consumables, which are specially treated to effectively reduce the accumulation of static electricity.
4.Control operating speed
When you replace an ink cartridge or perform other maintenance operations, do so gently to avoid rapid friction and static electricity. Especially in the dry season, more attention should be paid to the gentleness of the operation.
5.Regular cleaning
Clean the print-heads regularly with special cleaning liquid and tools to remove dust and impurities that may be adsorbed by static electricity, and keep the print-heads unimpeded. Follow the manufacturer's recommended cleaning procedures and avoid non-professional cleaning products that may cause static electricity.
Through the implementation of the above measures, the risk of damage caused by static electricity to the print-head of the Boyin digital printing machine can be significantly reduced, and the printing quality and long-term stable operation of the equipment can be ensured.
